yellow. or not.

yellow silk in the background. then in santa fe i met this person who had traveled to india and was seeking zen and thought the beads worked better with hot pink ribbon in the background. wanted to lean into that because sometimes the best changes are the ones through collaboration. but i’ve already put down so much yellow and i like it. the silk outlines the pattern omissions on the resin beads. which is pretty cool. and i like the black thread.

nevertheless, the experience of someone’s input that changes one’s original thought is intriguing. i want to be open to receiving and adapting to completely new ideas. so i don’t know if i’ll just remember to be open in life or make an actual change on this project.
